Setting the backend

Ok, I wiped out GNUstep, and got a clean cvs, and rebuilt everything. I can now say ProjectCenter/Gorm seem happy with each other. Not sure why the update and rebuild didn't solve it, but oh well.

A question, the documention here:
http://gnustep.made-it.com/BuildGuide/

Has one set the backend to the art module with:
defaults write NSGlobalDomain GSBackend libgnustep-art

I did that, but am curious how to set it to use the xlib (I assme libgnustep-xlib), and what the differences are (why wouldn't I use xlib if running on X11?).
