Hi!

I just wanted to tell you that I've released 1.0 of Smultron today.

Smultron is an open-source text editor written for Mac OS X Panther with many of the features that you might need. It features easy selection of the opened documents, line numbers, support for syntax colouring for many different languages, support for text encodings, code snippets, a toolbar, a status bar, HTML preview, multi-document find and replace with regular expressions, possibility to show invisible characters, authenticated saves, command-line utility, .Mac synchronisation of preferences and many more features.

Improvements since the last version (0.8):

Added localisations (Swedish, French and German).
.Mac synchronisation of the preferences.
Added a Open Recent Project-menu.
Added option to automatically open all documents that were open the last time Smultron was closed.
Improved the syntax colouring.
One can now replace with an empty string in Advanced Find, i.e. delete.
Added option to colour multi-line strings.
Now sets the insertion point to the same colour as the text.
Now guesses the syntax definition from the contents of the first line if there isn't an extension.
Added syntax definitions (PDF, LaTex and Objective Caml).
Many other improvements and some bugfixes.
