gnustep build problem with gcc-3.0

Im trying to port a program on debian woody. I keep on getting thiswarning and all gnustep programs segfault except for the packagedutilities.

/usr/bin/ld: warning: type and size of dynamic symbol`__objc_class_name_NSAutoreleasePool' are not defined
