In what I think is the current version of gnustep-base (1.12.0)
neither GSFileInputStream nor GSFileOutputStream support setting the
file pointer by calling setProperty:forKey: with
NSStreamFileCurrentOffsetKey. I'm wondering if there was a particular
reason for this.
