Is WebKit open-source?  I thought it was proprietary.  The app I'm
trying to port makes heavy use of WebKit - I found gswebkit (don't have the URL handy, but Google should find it) for that, but I figured I'd at
least have to do a lot of tweaking.

Yes, WebKit can be found at webkit.opendarwin.org under the LGPL and BSD licenses (maybe some APSL 2.0 in there too, I don't know for sure).
