There are many ones (calculator, primitive editor...) in the gnustep-examples
package available from the Download page

(select a server, click on "View package list" and download Examples 1.0.0 in
the section "GNUstep Development Tools")
You may also want to browse through gnustep.it with many howtos and small apps.
And of course there's lots of manuals available at
http://gnustep.org/developers/documentation.html
