Hi,

Guys, just as an aside from looking at the images: It has always been my concerted belief that the System, home and other "special" icons in Workspace should be "derived" so as to give a consistent look. For instance the system icon should be a combination of the folder icon supplied by the theme with the GNUstep Icon laid on top.

well, every "theme" may have different special icons and different styles on how these should be overlaid, thus at the end these icons need to be custom designed. E.g. in the Tango theme, we have a stylized house overlaid on the folder, the standard theme we have a more fancy house put over the icon in the bottom left corner. We represent libraries with "books" becuase that looks the NeXT style, Tango should I believe use a gear to represent system stuff and that is what I asked Gael to draw. Thus... the concept holds, but it needs to be manually adapted, I see ti unfeasible to provide it system-wide with auto-composition.
