FIPR also recently organised a conference on Digital Rights
and the European Union Copyright Directive, at which Martin
Keegan of Campaign for Digital Rights
(http://uk.eurorights.org) spoke on the flaws in the EUCD
and the UK implementation.
an organisation well worthy of support - FIPR also
successfully campaigned to uphold human rights in the recent
RIPA bill, although the bill was passed, it was nowhere near
as severe as it might have been.
