HOW THE CONTEST WORKS

Submit Your Favorite Set Of Songs And Win A Prize
(http://www.ibiblio.org/studioforrecording/mt/Archives/000018.html)!

Contest Rules

A simple contest. Submit a list(we call it a playlist) of your favorite
songs, and win a prize.
To qualify, the songs must meet one of the following criteria:

A. Music from the Public Domain, Authorighted, or otherwise Open
Licensed, regardless of its author or recorder affiliation.

B. Music of independent artists, or labels.

C. Even copyrighted music, if not sold to a major agency (RIAA, ASCAP,
etc.) by its author, regardless of the author's affiliation. All we need is
the artist's permission.

In short, the only music, which is not allowed here is that copyrighted
and sold to an agency bound to RIAA, ASCAP, or others like these found in
countries around the world.

We will screen all songs submitted for appropriate status, so that means, if
you want to cause us a lot of grief, just submit the songs, and let us
figure out if they're able to qualify for prize awards.

You can submit your playlist by email: Playlist List

You can submit your playlist by postal mail:
SONG STORM
c/o Open Studios
241 Crampton
Reno, NV 89502-2438

Each playlist should contain the following:

* Title of Song
* Name of Artist or Band
* URL of the song, e.g., http://www.artistsite.com/song.mp3
* URL of the artist, if the song URL is not available, e.g.,
http://www.artist.com/
* Postal mail address of artist if the artist does not have a website

The first two items, i.e., the title of the song, and the name of the artist
or band is required. The other items simply make our work easier. You do
want to make our work easier, don't you?
