I think the main reason why splitting the list is not a good
idea is that we have enough lists already.
The ARCH mailing list for moving forward with designing the
architecture of the DotGNU system. That list is working on
long-term stuff.

I'd like to discourage cross-posting between these lists. If
something is relevant not only to one of the specialised mailing
lists ARCH and AUTH, post it to DEVELOPERS. All the key people
will be there.
