[DotGNU]PROJECT ANNOUNCEMENT: Bizplan project |

Just like program code describes what a computer should do, a
business plan describes what a company should to. For this
reason I think that it would be against the principles of Free
Software to keep the business plan for DotGNU Inc. well-hidden
behind lock and bolt and NDA. So our Business Plan will be
GPL'd and developed right in the open, like any other software
development project.
We believe that we have workable ideas for creating a profitable
company around the DotGNU project that will in particular be
able to pay the participating developers.
At this stage, the main purposes of this business plan are
* to reality check these business ideas
* to convince participating developers that we indeed have a
viable plan that does not in any way violate the principles
of Free Software ethics
* to serve as a kind of software that helps "DotGNU Inc" move
in the right direction
Everyone who wants to see DotGNU succeed is invited to
participate in the creation of this business plan.
If you are interested in having a leadership roles or
management positions in DotGNU Inc, this is your chance to
prove your worth :-)
This business plan project will use the following mailing
list:
http://subscribe.dotgnu.org/mailman/listinfo/bizplan
If you're interested in participating, please subscribe to
this list. I'll wait until Monday so that (hopefully) everyone
who wants to join in will be there when we start.
Greetings, Norbert.
