This made absolutely no sense ... so am waiting for your comment on
this ....
In case you want the engine patched , please send me a list of the
invalid chars for the platform and I'll add that in ...
My list now has "?|*\n\0\r" .. is that right ? or are there more ?...
I'll commit the delete patches after this gets fixed in the patch
manager ...
