I can confirm that the option won't work in the older
versions I have access to (0.8.21 & 0.7.17 from Ubuntu repos),
but I'll install the 1.2.1 on a test machine to try these options.
It had not occurred to me that there were working options not in
the man page.

never used it, but looking at the sources it is still there.
