Hi Kiran,
the drive you have is a PIONEER DVR-S201, a DVD-R drive used for
premastering movie DVDs. You need to use special "for authoring"
media in this drive; the normal DVD-R and -RW media ("general
availability") won't work. I don't think that DVD-RW media "for
authoring" even exist.
dvdrecord seems to only support the DVR-[A1]0[345] drive family
from Pioneer plus their OEM clones.
