Maybe try these RPMS :

http://crashrecovery.org/download-ossdvd.html

for RedHat 9 it is :

http://crashrecovery.org/oss-dvd/RPMS/rh9/cdda2wav-2.0-6dvd.i386.rpm
http://crashrecovery.org/oss-dvd/RPMS/rh9/cdrecord-2.0-6dvd.i386.rpm
http://crashrecovery.org/oss-dvd/RPMS/rh9/cdrecord-devel-2.0-6dvd.i386.rpm
http://crashrecovery.org/oss-dvd/RPMS/rh9/cdrtools-debuginfo-2.0-6dvd.i386.rpm
http://crashrecovery.org/oss-dvd/RPMS/rh9/mkisofs-2.0-6dvd.i386.rpm

http://crashrecovery.org/oss-dvd/SRPMS/cdrtools-2.0-6dvd.src.rpm

These are based on a patch i made for cdrtools-2.00 see :

http://crashrecovery.org/oss-dvd.html

These RPMS should work fine with a Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-105 1.30, I have
the same drive here and have no problems with OSS DVD. There can be
issues however depending on what firmware one has loaded .

This is my driveinfo :

        2,1,0 201) 'PIONEER ' 'DVD-RW DVR-105 ' '1.30' Removable CD-ROM

However the 1.30 version of the firmware i use is patched for
 RPC-1 2x4all AND 12xRIP , see :

http://forum.rpc1.org/viewtopic.php?t=12632&highlight=a05

Robert
