I'm running emacs over ssh on a computing cluster, using an interactive job from the SLURM scheduler. When editing files outside of this interactive compute session, there is no problem.

Simply doing the following causes some graphical glitches, e.g., gaps in the pane border and missing lines in the buffer (see attached):

emacs
C-x 3
