I think it is better just to remove the reference to it (and
to clip-large-size-font) from the documentation.
I used to bind some function key to:
(lambda () (interactive) (setq highlight-wrong-size-font
(not highlight-wrong-size-font)))
for debugging. There will be a people having the similar
code. Deleting these variables breaks such a code (though,
not that serious of cource).
