That's what I meant. Here's the sequence:
emacs -batch -f batch-byte-compile lisp/international/mule-conf.el
make
cd lisp; make recompile EMACS=../src/emacs; cd ..
make
If that's what is needed, it's not difficult, and we have all the
necessary machinery already in place. All we need is some glue.
