No, you can't get rid of the charsets, even if you re-map them, but
don't worry about it.
Would you please explain why we can't get rid of those charsets even
after we have unified them into Unicode? I would like to understand
this.

I don't know what you think I was unclear about. It is not clear what
to do for some things, but that's not because I don't basically
understand the implementation.
That is very abstract. I am trying to help solve concrete issues.
What is the concrete point on which you are not sure what to do?
