Thanks. As I previously mentioned, I was able to revert to the
previous situation, but in a way that made me feel very uncomfortable
about introducing new bugs elsewhere. In particular, since I probably
just reintroduced all newlines you deleted, my "fix" would very
probably reintroduce whichever bugs your change was meant to fix.
