Here's another annoyance:
(require 'uniquify)
(setq uniquify-buffer-name-style 'forward)
Do (e.g.):
M-x cvs-examine RET ~/cvs/emacs RET
M-x cvs-examine RET ~/cvs/gnus RET
Now we will have these two buffers: "emacs/*cvs*", "gnus/*cvs*"
this hidden buffer: " *cvs-tmp*"
and this non-hidden, annoying, buffer: "gnus/ *cvs-tmp*"
