Unresolved reference to "strcasecmp" building CVS Emacs on Windows with MS Visual Studio 6.0 |

When I do "nmake bootstrap" to build the latest CVS Emacs on Windows
XP with MS Visual Studio 6.0 installed, I get an unresolved reference
to "strcasecmp" when linking temacs.exe. I had to apply the following
patch to get a clean build:
--- src/s/ms-w32.h 21 Apr 2006 09:24:03 -0000 1.40
+++ src/s/ms-w32.h 4 Aug 2006 16:38:50 -0000

#define stricmp _stricmp
#define tzset _tzset
#define tzname _tzname
+#define strcasecmp _stricmp
#ifdef HAVE_NTGUI
#define abort w32_abort
I'm not sure if the above patch is the best way to solve this problem,
but it works for me.
