That seems to concern the multi-tty branch currently where emacsclient
defaults to opening a new frame/session/terminal/whatever.
This new frame will show the splash screen again.
Why does it do that? Anyway, I don't insist it should.
I'm satisfied with showing it when Emacs starts.
