Seems to work fine.  Adding ^ to move-beginning/end-of-line made S-home
and S-end work too.

The expected behavior for S-prior/next is to move the point to the
beginning/end of the buffer when the distance is less than a page.
How is that going to be handled?

How about mark-whole-buffer?
