23.0.60; recode-region leaves the region active

From: Sven Joachim
Subject: 23.0.60; recode-region leaves the region active

User-agent: Gnus/5.13 (Gnus v5.13) Emacs/23.0.60 (gnu/linux)

In transient-mark-mode, recode-region does not deactivate the mark when
it's finished. Moreover, pressing C-x u afterwards ("undo in region")
will delete the region, multiple presses of C-x u do not recover from
this (only when the region is deactivated).

In GNU Emacs 23.0.60.2 (i686-pc-linux-gnu, GTK+ Version 2.12.9)
 of 2008-05-08 on debian
Windowing system distributor `The X.Org Foundation', version 11.0.10300000
