ftfont.c uses strcasestr, the strcasestr man page on Fedora says:
CONFORMING TO
The strstr() function conforms to C89 and C99. The strcasestr()
function is a non-standard extension.
and indeed sparc-sun-solaris2.9 does not have this function.
