You're just being argumentative; that's false on the face of it
("<html>VoilĂ !</html>"), and beside the point.  The *information* in
an HTML document is not all textual, and if the MIME media type is
text/html, users have a right to expect that that non-textual
information will be used in presentation and preserved in
transmission.

If you have a suggestion for improving Rmail which depends on
text/html being a format that doesn't require MIME encapsulation for
interoperability, please present it, and we can discuss its
feasibility.  Otherwise, we're just wasting each others' time.
