There are others like it, living in the Gnus repo and outside of Gnus in
the Emacs repo (e.g. message.el and imap.el).  We just need Yamaoka-san
to adjust the synchronization scripts to drop color-lab.el into a
different location in the Emacs tree.  I don't know how he does it but
it's not a big deal for other packages like message.el and imap.el IIUC.
