But, seriously, IIUC the intent of Martin's changes, one of the goals
is to help differentiate between user commands and elisp functions;
packages should use functions that express the intent of the code, and
make use of the SPECIFIERS and LABEL args to indicate any non-standard
behavior (that the user can override with display-buffer-alist). I
don't find hard to believe than in many of these 471 cases, what the
code pretends is more akin to `pop-to-buffer-same-window' than to
`switch-to-buffer'.
