There's an ssh-mode out there I tracked down once, which runs ssh in a buffer
(much like shell mode). It's not bad, though someday I want to do a little
work on the tramp interaction. I don't know the copyright status of it, but it
seems like it'd be a good addition to either Emacs or ELPA.
