My emacs (mac port 1.9998) is consuming 122M ram ATM. but it is only up
for 8 hours. My previous emacs (mac port 1.9992) has never crashed or
slowed down in any way. It is so perfect that I keep a copy of it in
both binary and source form. And it can run on end for over a month.
Very impressive.
