Debian has this nice "bts" tool. Examples:
bts show <number>
bts select status:open
bts done [version]
bts merge <number> <number> ...
bts tag <number> = tag tag tag
So,
$ sudo apt-get install devscripts
$ alias bts-emacs='bts --bts-server=debbugs.gnu.org'
$ man bts
pgpVAPYBVhQGi.pgp
