According to your code above, yes.

It's not really important. If you edit that file, below ;;Global
section: if you see any variable whose name starts with "desktop--"
and it's not "desktop--saved-states" (which is its name now), just
delete it.

Yes. I plan to fix it, but I first want advice about getting the
pre-maximized frame size without having to de-maximize and re-maximite
it. For the moment being, saving&restoring maximized/fullscreen frames
is not really supported.

Thanks for testing. If you find any other bug or unwanted behavior (as
I'm sure you will), please file a bug report. It's less messy than
endlessly adding to this thread.
