In all honesty, as other have mentioned as well, this is a tough nut to
crack and requires some intimate knowledge of Emacs and Lisp internals
to get overall right.

As much as it pains my ego to say: I'm not that guy. If we were talking
about C++, Python or whatever, I would still be hesistant due to the
huge codebase of Emacs but at least those languages I know pretty darn
well with all their ins and outs. I can absolutely not say the same for
Lisp.
