Great, thank you for your efforts.

So I guess the conclusion is that only the 32-bit Windows builds are
affected by this problem.

I still think other 32-bit platforms should be tested as well.

Probably.  But it isn't important now (I thought it might be a part of
the puzzle, but evidently it isn't).
