Re: Generating the ChangeLog files from the commit messages

As a heads-up, it's looking like we won't be generating ChangeLogs automatically 
any time soon.

Any automated procedure would entail some minor changes to what ChangeLogs look 
like (e.g., spacing, order, commit dates), and this is likely to clash with at 
least one developer's preferences.  In Bug#19113 Stefan said he'd rather leave 
things alone unless we get explicit agreement from all the core maintainers, a 
bar sufficiently high that I'm taking it as a polite way of saying "let's not do 
this".
