You've not been watching the news in the past 100 years. Socialism is the 
philosophy that has been the most demonised. Your comment only shows a gross 
misunderstanding of political history and of the aspirations of the people who 
gave their lives so that more people could achieve freedom from economic 
serfdom regardless of what self-proclaimed tyrants did or said. We're not on 
Fox News here are we?
