And now that I have tried it:

        ELC      obsolete/pgg-pgp.elc

    In toplevel form:
    obsolete/pgg-pgp.el:30:1:Error: Error in CCL program

This is with gmp 6.1.2

If I force usage of mini-gmp.o I get the same error.
