That advice should fix the problem; did you try it?More importantly, why do you have a file named './-.o' - that is, what build option created that file?
In the meantime I installed the attached into master, which should prevent this particular build failure from occurring again, though you may need to fix your copy by hand in order to propagate this fix into your copy.
