But we have cyclical dependencies...

Just removing the .elc files seem like a pretty easy way to do what we
want to do...  Are there any drawbacks here?

(Or use `load-prefer-newer', as was suggested.  Same effect here,

(domestic pets only, the antidote for overdose, milk.)
