Thank you. That link was sent by Noam before I receive your mail, to whom I 
replied, "Thank you, that makes sense".

Indeed, but since I always use package.el I had forgotten about how to simply 
install code, and I checked the manual which had no clear information about 
that and I created a new thread with the title '"Emacs Lisp Packages" chapter 
in the Emacs manual' where I'm proposing a patch to clarify/improve the 
documentation on this fundamental subject.
