We’re talking about some canned configurations of Emacs, not OS
distributions.  Like Spacemacs, Doom Emacs, etc.  Some of these are
called distr{o,ibution}s, some ‘starter kits’.

These are more like Anaconda Python.  But yeah, the terms are a bit
confusing.
