FWIW, I agree.  Nothing prevents Emacs (or third
parties) from providing additional tutorials (or
blogs or videos...) that cover such things.

+1.

A separate tutorial or whatever might make sense.
Step-by-step how-to for particular tasks/features
can sometimes help.

Or perhaps just mention in passing that you can
do this, plus add a link to its doc in the manual.
