[can't even compile 28.1 or 27.1 in git repo] (was: Can't compile anymore latest master on MacOS 10.15 with fink, fingerprint problem, info?)

I now tried to checkout tag 28.1 and then 27.1

In both cases configure complained about the info version, but that confuses me 
a bit, 27.1 should compile with older version of texinfo, shouldn't it?


What do I miss here?
