But this deprecation may be reverted; I'm simply asking that if it is,
then native-comp-deferred-compilation should take up some of the
meaning of the switch you've implemented.  As a user, I find it
somewhat surprising that whatever means I have to inhibit deferred
compilation actually inhibit neither deferred compilation nor its side-
effects.
