Before I write a `defun', I always think, did someone else
already write this exact defun - in Emacs, in GNU ELPA, on
some -hub or some homepage, anywhere?

And the answer is always, "I don't know".

And then I ask: "Okay, but how do I find out then?"

"I don't know."
