Currently you likely use org-mobile-push to put your files on the remote server. You should be able to use org-mobile-pull for retrieval, is this not the case?

I run my own apache at home, so, I suppose I could install webdav there, but I have concerns about security, having never messed with it.
So, I guess my questions are:
What's the simplest method that's possibly insecure (i.e. some random webdav provider)?
And, what's the simplest method that's secure?
