Hi Seb, in the absence of having distinct variables for this, you could
make your own version, e.g.

  (defun my/org-babel-expand-src-block ()
    (interactive)
    (let ((org-src-window-setup 'reorganize-frame))
      (org-babel-expand-src-block)))
