org-freemind.el correctly exports .org files using <br />

can you try to replace "<br />" by "<br/>" (with no space) 
and see if that's better?  I doubt it's so simple.

In any case, surely a bug if org-freemind.el.  I'm copying 
Lennart, the author of this library.
