Thanks Samuel.  I'd tried playing around with this as well and I
confirm that it doesn't seem to do anything.  It does sound like the
correct feature though, doesn't it?

Found a better workaround: hitting ": RET" (or anything to change the
entry) will display the headline unmodified...
